PILOT SCHOOL beginner lesson
Fundamental safety, wind theory, rigging, launching and flying an inflatable kite on the water. Water relaunching skills, basic navigation and self-rescue protocols are primary goals. Basic power strokes with the kite, body dragging downwind as well as across the wind will make learning fun. If you're in control, you might even get to try water starting with the board!

FLIGHT SCHOOL so you're ready to fly; next level skills
So you’ve graduated from Ground and Pilot School and you are now ready to put it all together to get up and riding. Skills are broken down into a step-by-step process to set you up for success. Wind orientation, wind line and the ride line will get your kite flying in the right direction. On board water start simulations and demonstrations, combined with tug-of war exercises will have you up and riding in both directions! We use the Waverunner so you can ride for miles. The only variable is you. Kiteboarding made simple.

UNLIMITED boundaries define the line to cross
Advanced lessons for any kiteboarding skills you wish to master: staying upwind, transitions, carving turns (toe-side & heel-side), going faster, holding down power, jumping, load-and-pop, going huge, arial transitions, intro wave riding, advanced kite surfing, flips, spins and wake style are just some of your options. Our pros have the insight and experience to help you have more fun by pushing your limits.

PROGRESSION SESSIONS supervised rentals
So you've paid you're dues and have progressed through Flight School. Now you only need time on the water to hone your skills. Our instructors will "caddy" for you. Matching the right kite and board combination to maximize your focal skills for the day. We'll get you out on the water and keep a watchful eye as you practice by yourself. We’ll use the Waverunner to pick you up and bring you back until you come back to where you started under your own power.

Requirement of Experience: Only available to students who have completed two days of lessons and must have instructors approval

Downwind Riding Tour
We also offer down wind riding for miles of fun, safe boat-assisted bay kiting downwinders starting at the North Flats of the Island. When you don't have to worry about staying upwind, you are free to carve, jump or unhook yourself silly. Riding large (a sailing term meaning with the wind at your stern) will allow you to refine your kiting technique for when you start doing downwinders in the waves on the Gulf side of the island. Each trip is piloted by a US Coast Guard Captain and Certified Kiteboard instructor.
