FALL SEASON IN SOUTH PADRE ISLAND The fall season on South Padre is here! Excellent winds continue well into December, with very few "no wind" days. The 08 hurricane season has been active for South Padre Island with a direct hit on July 23rd by Dolly. Although damage from Dolly put a "damper" on the summer tourist season, things are all cleaned up and ready for the busy fall kiteboarding season. Temperatures in the mid 80's to mid 90's and water temperatures in the mid 80's and average daily wind speeds of 18 mph. The North Flats kite beach is wide open and island beachs are cleaner than ever. So come on down and take advantage of our premium, uncrowded conditions.
